Cozy January Home Tour

Happy New Year friends! Can you believe it’s 2020? I just wanted to share my cozy January home tour with you all. I have to say, this was the first year ever that I was really sad to take down my Christmas tree. I loved it so much and really miss the glow of the lights.

But, taking down Christmas gives me that raw, blank slate to work with and I’ve enjoyed moving things around and trying out new decorating ideas!

I love trying out new vignettes almost daily. Some I keep up and others I file away for future decorating ideas. For example, the candles on the dresser aren’t currently all out, but I was experimenting and think it will be perfect for February!

My overall goal was cozy with an eclectic and collected vibe. Nearly everything in my home is thrifted etc., so I *think* I achieved that!

Cozy blankets with different textures, patterned pillows and woven baskets are key for winter to add in a warm vibe.

Anyway, I just wanted to share how my home transformed from Christmas to winter! Wishing you all a wonderful start to the new year!

  1. I think you achieved cosy, it looks wonderful. I have just finished 'undecorating' the Christmas stuff - all back in storage in the garage now. Have a lovely week.
