Simple, Early Fall Living Room

Happy almost fall! This past week I decided to welcome the upcoming season to my home and I thought I would share

Autumn is definitely my favorite!

I already love the warmth and texture of my rug and Turkish pillows and think that they translate perfectly to this cozy season.

I simply added this vase (I love pottery and how the black and white pattern adds more details) and some sprigs of wheat from the craft store.

One of my favorite fall décor pieces, that I've had for years, is this cement pumpkin. I love all things neutral and the texture on this is just amazing. I feel like the material is really timeless and interesting.

On the other side of the room I have my olive tree. It did amazingly well in my three season porch over the summer. I put the pot in a basket to add more texture and neutral color for the season.

Another element I love for fall is to incorporate wood. I filled that modern planter on my desk with wood beads. I love raw materials in shades of tans and browns at this time of year.

And, that's it. I kept things super simple and minimal while still giving a nod to the upcoming months. (I'm sure I'll be adding in some Halloween next month, though!)

  1. Angela, everything is so warm, inviting and cozy, and I love how you use neutral and give it some punch in the process. It looks like such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the season!!
