Rustic Modern Mirror Garland

This originally was published as a contributor post on Jennifer Rizzo Design Company.

I have a great garland DIY to share with you all today!

I just love the combo of rustic/modern and this garland mixes these two styles just perfectly.

Supplies: Wood slices (you can purchase these at craft stores or cut your own, as we did), craft mirrors (mine are 2"), hot glue, scissors, twine, screw eyes (I was able to find gold ones to match my décor at Home Depot).

Simply glue a mirror to the center of each wood slice and let dry. Then, screw the eye hook into the wood slice and add the twine. I tied a knot around the hooks so that the wood slices stayed securely placed.

Currently, this is adorning our coffee table. I just love the little bit of sparkle that it adds.

Eventually, I see this garland being strung across our mantel. It think it will look so pretty when it catches the light.
