Shabby, French Table & Announcements

Morning all!

 

I have so many exciting things to share today so make sure that you read all the way to the bottom of my post!

 

First up, here is a piece of furniture I recently finished that I will have available at my vintage furniture sale on Sunday.

 

 

I actually picked this up at the thrift store a couple of months ago, but just now had the time to paint it. It was in fantastic condition from the beginning and I loved the lines of it; just not the light colored stain.

 

I started out by painting the medallion and the legs in a deep brown and then gave the entire table two coats of cream.




 

 

I went a little bit heavier on the distressing of this piece and I am thrilled with the results!
