Vintage/Modern Bold Rugs Review

Hey all!

I was recently contacted by Bold Rugs to see if I would like to do a review. And, I totally did. With the exception of our bathroom every single room in our home, including our kitchen has hard wood floors, so beautiful area rugs are always more than welcome here.

Even though I was given the Safavieh Retro RE Black and Grey Area Rug, the opinions are all completely my own. Which was super easy because I think the rug is pretty great.

And apparently so does Figgy. (And I am not even kidding. He came running over today and started posing.) This is his, my life is so much better now that I'm not an abandoned sick stray and I can spend my days primping for blog posts look.

Back to the rug...I'm still tossing out some ideas about where I want to put it. Here it is in my entry, but I'm also thinking maybe the master bedroom.

The rug is super comfortable underfoot. And there was no odor or visible shedding, which is a huge bonus.

I love neutrals so this rug was an easy choice for me, but the graduated color scheme makes it totally unique and unexpected.

  3. Angela, The rug works perfectly and goes with the cat colors. :):) How adorable is that cat !! Here is a story of carpet squares...it seems the GM company put a white carpet in the lobby of one of it's buildings...at the end of the year, the color of the carpet(brownish gray) was the color they chose for many of their entries. It doesn't show dirt . Can you imagine the first few nasty steps though. LOL. xoxo,Susie
