Morning everyone! I am so super excited to have Martina from Northern Nesting here as part of my Inspiring Bloggers Series. I don't even remember when I first started reading Martina's blog, but I do know that I was enamored with her painted furniture (and you know I love a good furniture makeover!) That's why I was so thrilled when she decided to feature some of her favorite pieces here today. Take a look!
Hi there Number Fifty-Three readers... I'm Martina and I blog over at Northern Nesting...my blog is all about home decor...DIY'ing... & gardening!
Hi there Number Fifty-Three readers... I'm Martina and I blog over at Northern Nesting...my blog is all about home decor...DIY'ing... & gardening!
~~~
I'm a long time follower of Angela's and love all her projects!!
I was so excited when she asked me to be part of her Inspiring Bloggers Series!!
~~~
I was going back and forth between doing a
home tour post or a post about my
furniture painting obsession...furniture painting won!
~~~
Here are some of my favorite transformations...
A chair my mom picked up for me at an estate sale...redone in MMS milk paint. I dressed it up a bit by adding the applique.
Next up my garage sale dresser...
Redone in AS chalk paint...my favorite furniture paint!!
My desk that I found on Craigslist...
After...
A sweet little table redone for my cousin...
After...
I've even been know to repaint a repaint lol!!
These next few are recent pieces that I made over...
Flea Market find antique chest for our master bedroom...
After...
A demilune table that I had for years... I'm using it in my kids bathroom...
After...
Another antique chest I found that I'm using in our master bath...
After...
Last but least my newest transformation...
Giving a factory finished bench a soft...worn...white finish.
I love how paint transforms a piece, weather it be an old piece that just needs a little TLC or making a new piece look old.
Now pull out those paint brushes to paint and create!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great feature, I love Martina's style and furniture. Her blog is always a great one to wait for to see what she is up to. That demi Lune table in her bath with the toilet holder is a brilliant idea, no holes in the wall.
