We recently picked up this cabinet in our neighborhood and, while it needed some TLC (think a little patching, paint, new hardware) I just thought it was so cool and I could see so much potential.

After some prep I painted it an all time favorite color of mine, General Finishes Corinth Blue. I used this a lot in my old home and it is a modern deep turquoise that is just perfect.
To give it some age and interest I finished the cabinet using a General Finishes glaze in Van Dyke Brown. I love how it made the cabinet look time worn.
Of course, I also switched out the hardware as the originals were plastic. To further play on the apothecary feel I chose these antique copper pulls from D. Lawless. They work perfectly with this piece and even have a spot to add a label in if you wanted to.
This piece is available for sale in Northern Connecticut.
