Weathered Gray Dining Table

I couldn't wait to photograph this weathered gray dining table that I recently finished for a client.

It's one of the more unique ones that I have done and is a great example of a layering paint.

It started as a plain wood table.

Then, I painted it a solid, pale gray.

Then, once that dried I layered several coats of charcoal gray using a dry brush technique.

I sanded with a very fine grit sandpaper until I achieved the look I wanted; adding more paint as needed.

The result is a weathered, worn, beachy vibe.
