Guest Home Tour!

Morning everyone! I cannot believe the weekend is over already! I hit up a few tag sales and got some really nice furniture pieces to refurbish. If you follow me on facebook you have already seen one of them and I cannot wait to get started on it!

This weekend I also stopped by my Mom's home to get some updated pictures. While her style is definitely different than mine, she actually has several pieces of furniture that I have painted, some of which I had previously incorporated into my more vintage/cottage style home.

In her den, she opened up an old cabinet to make it a little library for her decorating books and magazines.

She finished the space with one of my book page wreaths that I make.

This shelf in her den is just a favorite of mine and I always love how she changes it up!

Little bits of Americana are throughout her home in the summer months.

This desk and burlap covered chair in the dining room were two pieces my Mom got from me.

Love the mix of color and textures here.

My Mom's mantel is another area that I love in her home. She changes it frequently and it always looks amazing!

Love this star blanket draped over the settee! That's my Mom's cat who is completely old and crabby and despises getting his photo taken...the complete opposite of my Figgy who is forever photobombing!

 Love colorful collections!

Other pops of color in the living room come from these gorgeous blue bottles, the dresser I did in shades of colonial blue...

...and the chartreuse chair and candlestick that has previously been in my own living room...love, love, love it paired with blue!
