Introducing One Kings Lane Decor Recource Center

Welcome friends!

I am so happy to be teaming up with One Kings Lane today to help introduce their new Decor Resource Center.

First of all, One Kings Lane is an amazing and inspiring website filled with curated collections. Hello! Jessica Alba is sharing her favorite picks right now (here)!

But, and here is the truly awesome thing, they also sell gorgeous and unique vintage pieces! In addition, they have this Décor Resource Center where you can learn more about vintage and antique furniture and there are even several options to search; whether it be period, style or type.

I love this because I think it is so important to know what type of furniture you have collected for your home. It is just another layer of the history of the piece. Seriously, though, do you ever sit and wonder about a vintage piece you have bought? Well, the Décor Resource Center can help clear up some of that mystery!

One Kings Lane also asked me to share my favorite vintage chair in my home. It is without a doubt, this beautiful blue, velvet wing back (more specifically a Queen Anne Style Wing Chair as I discovered here.)

Now, I've talked about my love for this chair before. This originally belonged to my grandmother (whom I never had the privilege to meet). The chair then found its way into my childhood home, where my parents recovered it in this velvet more than 30 years ago. I think it has held up beautifully don't you think?

This chair is such a wonderful reminder and connection to my past (my Dad is also no longer living). And I absolutely love it in front of this sunny window in our master bedroom. It's the perfect place to curl up in the afternoon!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  1. I'm a big fan of one king's lane, though I haven't bought anything yet. It gives me great ideas, and the prices can be pretty reasonable.

  2. The Queen Anne chair (and throw) is beautiful. Thanks for posting!
