I'm so excited to share this dresser makeover with you all today. Antique white and brass is such a beautiful combination and has been a favorite of mine for years.
Here is where we started...this is an incredibly large and heavy dresser. It's not necessarily old, but the finish did date it quite a bit...
Anyway, I primed and painted it with several coats of a custom mixed antique white that I created a couple of years ago.
I then distressed it and gave it a of coat of wax for protection.
Of course, what really changed the entire look of this piece was the hardware from D. Lawless! It's a perfect aged brass and extremely heavy and durable. You can find the pulls here and the knobs here.
Even though we kept this dresser very simple with the creamy paint and brass accessories I think that it looks very intentional and much more unique than before!
