I wanted to keep the colors neutral; using mostly creams, whites and browns.
I repurposed my clay pot, white pumpkin with rusted leaf and zinc pot with sticks.
These white pumpkins were a few of the real pumpkins I bought for the autumn season.
I can't do without my favorite wire cloche. This time I added in some found birch branches and placed it all in this cool wooden box I bought at a favorite store of mine for just a few dollars.
Don't you just love the age on this clay pot and saucer?
That faux chocolate turkey is probably the only true Thanksgiving decoration I have. I bought it years ago and think it's so cute! I placed it (along with the clay pot) on top of some of my antique books.
I recently bought the large glass container at a local store. I filled it with more antique books.
For a little pop of color I added in the bittersweet wreath I made. You can find instructions for it here.
I love this time of year!
And, just a reminder that there are still a few days left to enter the Ramsign giveaway. You can find all the details in this post.

Oh my gosh...I love everything about this! But I think what I like the most is how you have the clear lucite lamp mixed in with everything else. A touch of something more modern really balances everything out and makes it so interesting. I love eclectic looks like this!

ReplyDeleteA very pretty Thanksgiving mantel, Angela--I like the white pumpkins, and the neat wire cloche in particular. Love the gold-framed mirror, too--I just picked up a pretty oval one at the Salvation Army Thrift Store a few weeks ago. Do I have any idea yet where I will use it? No, but I thought it was pretty and it came home with me:)
