Easy, Glittery Pinecones

Hey all! I have a couple of fun crafts to share this week that are perfect for Christmas, but are neutral and wintry enough to decorate with long after the holiday has ended.

Here are the supplies you'll need:  pinecones, small art brush, white craft paint, glue and glitter. Also, a disposable plate to catch any excess glitter.

This is so simple! First, start out by painting the tips of the pinecone with craft paint in the color of your choosing. (I used white to give the feel of fallen snow.)

When the paint dries, brush on some white glue and sprinkle liberally with glitter.

You can display your pine cones in a bowl or vase or string them with embroidery floss and make a garland, which is what I did in my dining room.

I just casually draped the garland on our antique chalkboard. Do you like my Charlie Brown tree drawing?

You know what? In my opinion, you can never use too much glitter! Love it!

And, be sure to stop back tomorrow morning for the start of our awesome Christmas home tour!
